Operations and Systems Audits

The main objective of any warehouse/operations audit is to highlight any aspect of the operations systems or processes which could be improved.

We would normally expect to cover the following in an Operational Audit:

    Bullet  Purchase Order Creation

    Bullet  Goods Inwards

    Bullet  Goods Put Away

    Bullet  Inventory Control

    Bullet  Sales Order Creation

    Bullet  Pick, Pack & Load

    Bullet  POD

The audit process will require us to work on the client site as we will need view all processes as they are actively undertaken. We would also expect to interview key personnel. From this process an audit report will be produced and results discussed with the relevant management teams.

Our final report will detail all current processes, highlight any existing systems functionality that is not currently being exploited and where we see a benefit from the use of this functionality we will calculate the expected saving.

Propose changes to systems or practices, where applicable, and identify the possible benefits those changes could provide.
